The staircase at the back of the restaurant opens onto the upstairs bazaar — a quiet, low-lit half-floor lined with hijabs and abayas, racks of thobes and keffiyehs, houseware and gifts, framed Quranic signs, an Islamic bookstore and a small shelf of attar perfumes and bakhoor.
It's part shop, part wander. Take your time, ask anything — most regulars find something they didn't know they were looking for.
